AT&T launched their Texting and Driving it can wait campaign last year to much fanfare. Their campaign was a beacon to make teens aware of the fact that texting while driving can have serious consequences.

AT&T continues to show that they are committed by preloading their DriveMode app on the Pantech Discover. Once you launch the app you have the ability to customize what messages are sent while driving. The app uses GPS to determine when you are in motion and once you hit 25 MPH it will send auto reply messages assuming you get incoming ones. While you are driving all calls are automatically sent to voicemail unless otherwise put into an allow list.

This will be covered more in-depth when I do my review of the Pantech Discover. Hit the source link for the press release.
