Nothing wrong with be last to the party as long as you show up right? Samsung and Verizon finally made the launch of the Samsung ATIV Odyssey official. Starting tomorrow you can pick up this mid-ranged Windows Phone 8 device for just $49 dollars on a two-year contract agreement.
Specs for the Odyssey include a 4 inch Super AMOLED display at 480×800 resolution, 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP camera with 1080p video recording ans a 1.2MP FFC, 8 GB of internal storage with MicroSD card expansion and a removable 2100 mAh battery. I also cant forget to mention that this has support for Verizon’s LTE network. Not bad for the price.
This will be going head to head with its other rival the Nokia Lumia 822 on Verizon considering they are priced the same and are going after the same target market. Read the press release below.
