DICE announced today that the new Battlefield 3: Aftermath DLC will be launched on November 27th for all PlayStation 3 Battlefield Premium users. It will then be launched a week later on December 4th for Xbox 360 and PC Premium users. All PS3 players will be able to get the DLC on December 11th, and PC gamers and Xbox 360 users without a premium subscription will be able to get it on December 18th. As a standalone download (without the $50 premium subscription), it will go for the price of $15.
The Aftermath DLC will add four new multiplayer maps as well as a new Scavenger game mode. In Scavenger mode, the player will start with only one knife, one grenade, and a sidearm. It is up to the player to explore the terrain and look for more powerful weapons. New weapons, achievements, vehicles, and assignments are also new features of this Aftermath DLC. If you are a fan of Battlefield 3, be sure to pick up this DLC, as it looks like a lot of cool stuff has been added. Check out the trailer below to see the DLC in action.
