Sprint’s Motorola Photon Q now available for $199

Sprint’s Motorola Photon Q now available for $199

Nothing like a little reminder for your Sunday. The Motorola Photon Q is now available from Sprint for $199 on a two-year contract. I recently just reviewed the Motorola Atrix HD  and the Photon Q uses the exact same version of Android (ICS) and the same on screen keys. The difference is that the Photon Q is a slider based phone and while the market mainly caters to slab devices, its good to see OEM’s cater to people who need keyboards.

I cant forget to mention that this is a world phone so people who love to travel overseas don’t have to worry about roaming. All you have to do in put in a compatible SIM card and you are all set to go. The Motorola Photon Q will also be one of the first phones to take advantage of Motorola’s bootloader unlocking program so that is a plus for those of you who may care. So who is in the market for a keyboard phone on Sprint?
