Join the movement and pledge to never text and drive again; AT&T pushes “No Text on Board Pledge Day” for September 19th

I really admire what AT&T is trying to do. If you dont remember, back in May, I covered the AT&T’s “Texting and Driving: It can wait” campaign here in Las Vegas, Nevada at Green Valley High school. It was a PSA at informing students about the dangers of using cell phones and texting while driving. It was a wonderful event and I thank Scott Huscher for allowing me to cover the event.

AT&T is back again trying to push the virtues of not texting while you drive but asking everyone to pledge to never do so again. They have launched a new site called “ItCanWait“. Here you can pledge and this will be going on until September 19th, also dubbed “No Text on Board Pledge Day”.

This is very important and while texting and driving might seem like something you  multitask well at, its extremely dangerous. I implore you to make the decision and pledge to refrain from texting while driving. Be sure to spread the word and help keep the roads safe.
