Mid-ranged Pantech Star Q headed for Verizon with LTE, Snapdragon S4 and Qwerty keyboard in tow

Mid-ranged Pantech Star Q headed for Verizon with LTE, Snapdragon S4 and Qwerty keyboard in tow

Verizon is really starting to target the mid-ranged market. With several Samsung phones slated to be coming to Big Red sooner or later, what’s the harm in another phone? Android and Me managed to get some press shots of the upcoming phone. As you see from the title picture this is QWERTY slider with a UI that looks like feature phones of our past. It’s slated to run Android 4.0.4 and be powered by a 1.5 Ghz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, have a 1.3 MP ffc and 3 MP back facing camera with no flash. It will run on Verizon’s 4G/LTE network and have a 4 inch WVGA screen. No release date or price but considering its target market, I would say $50 on two-year contract.
