MetroTube is headed back to the Windows Phone Marketplace!

MetroTube is headed back to the Windows Phone Marketplace!

Windows Phone isnt short on 3rd party YouTube clients but having another one to choose from is never a bad thing. MetroTube was one of the better YouTube clients for Windows Phone but was discontinued and removed from the Marketplace. The reasoning was because they were using workarounds to access videos on YouTube servers and couldn’t ensure functionality in future updates. The developers, LazyWorm, have decided to re-release to the Marketplace for free, which is a huge bonus.

The app has passed Marketplace certification and should be available later today. It will be nice to have a YouTube app that adheres nicely to the Metro guidelines.
